The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation (SRTIP) Park has opened its doors to the investors and the public in the Emirates of Sharjah.
SRTIP, an initiative of the American University of Sharjah Enterprises (AUSE) was established in 2016 by a royal decree of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council of the UAE.
The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation (SRTI) Park is a Free Trade Zone near to the University City of Sharjah. It is one of the newest Freezone of UAE and is focused on promoting academics, research, & innovation in the region.
The SRTI Park aims at including academics, industry experience, and government support to encourage the environment of innovation, research & development.
Phase 1 of the park consist of 3 interlinked buildings of more than 60,000 square feet. It includes the park’s headquarters, laboratories, and innovation centers, and will host a mix of Startups, SMEs & Anchor companies that focus on research, development, and innovation.
The SRTI park is specifically focused on businesses that will invest their resources in water technology, renewable energy, environmental technology, digitization, industrial design 4.0, and mobility & smart cities.
The park consists of world-class infrastructure that fosters an environment of creativity and innovation. The park consists of all infrastructure and supporting services for promoting research, development, & innovation in the region.
The Business Setup Process in SRTIP is very simple. It follows a 3 Step Process as below:
SRTIP has various customizable office spaces of all businesses from Startups, SMEs and MNCs. It also has an option for flexidesks on the shared workspace, serviced executive offices and shell & core units.
There are dedicated laboratory facilities for various industrial and academic segments such as technology, medical, chemical, etc. The SRTIP park also houses testing facilities for industries to conduct research and development.
The SRTIP Park has large innovation centers for Incubators or Accelerators as a joint venture with the Park authority. They also have an office area with meeting rooms, conference halls, informal meeting zones, and office accommodation all meeting international standards.
