Trademark Registration
AED 6,499Protect Your Brand Across the UAE
A registered trademark is the only way to legally stop others from copying your name, logo or tagline. Aurion handles the entire filing process with the Ministry of Economy, start to finish.
One Registration. Every Emirate. Ten Years of Protection.
A trademark can be a name, logo, signature, symbol, tag line or seal — anything that identifies your goods or services as uniquely yours.
Trademark registration in the UAE protects your brand name, symbol or logo from unauthorized use. It's governed by the Ministry of Economy under Federal Law No. 37 of 1992 and its amendments, and gives both UAE nationals and non-nationals the right to register commercial, industrial, service or handicraft trademarks.
Once issued, a UAE trademark certificate is valid across all seven emirates — Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah — for 10 years, renewable for further 10-year terms.

The Trademark Registration Process
A structured, six-step process governed by the Ministry of Economy — Aurion manages each stage so your application isn't delayed or rejected.
Trademark Search
Aurion checks that your intended name, logo or symbol isn't already registered or in use, identifying close matches before you commit to a brand asset.
Documentation
We prepare your application form, trademark design, trading license and identity documents for submission to the Ministry of Economy.
Fee Payment
Registration fees are remitted in stages — initial approval, publication and certification — and Aurion tracks each payment against your application.
Ministry Review & Approval
The Ministry of Economy reviews your application for conflicts or irregularities. A well-prepared submission avoids rejection at this stage.
Publication in the Trademark Journal
Once approved, your trademark is published for a 30-day public objection window. If an objection is raised, Aurion advises on the next step.
Certificate Issuance
With no objections raised, you receive your Trademark Registration Certificate — valid for 10 years and renewable after that.
One Flat Fee, Fully Managed
Your registration fee covers the application filing, publication in the Trademark Journal and two local Arabic newspapers, and issuance of your Trademark Registration Certificate — Aurion's service fee is separate and quoted upfront.
Processing typically takes 2–3 months. Need it faster? A 1-day expedited examination is available for an additional AED 2,500.
Why Register Your Trademark
A registered trademark protects more than a logo — it protects the trust your brand has earned.
Aurion also assists with trademark registration across GCC jurisdictions, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
